With the warmer weather ahead of us, we’ve been producing some beautiful Alfresco Areas for several residential clients. 

Concrete is so versatile and the myriad of finishes available make it easy to match your homes decor and vibe. 

We’ve prepared plain slabs ready for tiling, decorative concrete areas such as stencilcrete and stampled, colour sealed concrete and polished concrete, in addition to exposed aggregate. Which has a top notch lux finish that is currently trending. 

Exposed Ag is created by removing the surface fines from the concrete resulting in the internal aggregates being exposed highlighting the natural elements of the stone. Exposed aggregate concrete is ideal for use on outdoor areas, the more heavily exposed finish is perfect for driveways or areas requiring more grip (where the kids will be playing)

With lockdowns ending, we’ve had a significant increase in enquiries coming through for our concreting services. The BIG question is always, which area do you service?

We’re based in Penrith, and travel up to 2 hours for our clients. We understand that rural home owners have a difficult time trying to get Trades out to quote and do jobs, and we pride our business on going that bit extra to service out of area clients. That includes the Lower & Mid Blue Mountains, North Rihcmond, Hawkesbury, Kurrajong (we have atleast 1 job a week in the Jong), Picton, Camden, Leppington, just to name a few.

This week, we’ve returned to Kurrajong for some extensive concrete works (pictured) it’s so good to be outdoors doing what we love!

Charcoal was the colour the owners opted for, to contrast with the landscaping & greenery and add to the appealing facade of this home. 

As you can see from the hand cove finish, the attention to detail is second to none. 

We regularly work with local council to ensure your job is poured and finished to spec & council legislation. 

Works that require approval include:

• opening the road for services
• constructing a driveway
• placing a temporary fence around a construction site, or
• forming a road.

Inspections are undertaken.

A minimum of $20m public liability insurance is required (with cover for the duration of the works) – which TCB Concrete holds.
